Hy-Lo News is a hyperlocal blog that amplifies the voices of Black and Brown Millennials in South Florida with news articles, videos, and discussions on today’s most pressing issues.

According to founder and CEO Janey Tate, Hy-Lo will use Pivot funding to:

  • Hire a full-time editor to oversee editorial strategy
  •  Hire a full-time reporter
  •  Hire freelance contributors
  •  Upgrade the website and tech stack
